Apparantly, the classic Rider illustrations have been replaced by the cheaper looking versions with this recent update. If you buy the pro version, you get the classic illustrations. Keep this old version if you dont want the cheap looking line-drawings.

This is simple but perfect for me. The update of images is beautiful for my iPhone 4. I love the descriptions, and the offerings of the readings. Nice straightforward app. I agree that it could have more descriptions about the cards and readings, but for people that pretty much know about tarot, it is great!

These new drawings based upon the Rider-Waite deck are quite ghastly! The beautiful magic of the originals is gone. This is a wonderful app but PLEASE change the images back to the pre-update ones. Thanks.

I have really enjoyed this app. Its easily the best Tarot app out there! However, after a recent update, all of the original Rider Waite art has been replaced by terrible line drawings of the deck!! Its enough for me to consider buying a different tarot app. Change the art work back and Ill rate it at five stars!! Or better yet just do a high quality scan of the original!! Im begging you guys....the new art work has to go!!

My friends and I love this app. It so fun and easy to use. However, the new update with the new card graphics are extreme ugly. It looks like a traced drawing by a kindergartener. The new update said that the graphics will be high quality. Not the case. Change it back or use a different version of the Waite deck like the Universal Waite( which I own). then I will give it 5 stars.

I love this app and have been enjoying it for a long time, but these new cards are total crap. It makes me want to find something else. Please change it back. It seems like a lot of others feel the same way.

Ive had this one for ages, & its very good. Dont believe the trash talk. I too, however, prefer the old illustrations.

I created this app, and I just wanted to tell you about what I like the most about it. The best thing is the unique way it uses the iPhone device. The iPhone is the perfect shape and interface for a Tarot card. Plus when you do an open-ended reading, the interface spins like a slot machine and other people can close their eyes and tap your iPhone to pick a random card. This hasnt been done before, and when Ive used this at parties, its a hit.

Very poor animation on the cards. A complete waste of money since tarot royal is free and much much better.

im trying to see the amiga-like 8-bit line drawings as adding whimsy to my readings, but its a tough sell. Id assume this app is abandonedware with how little response theres been to the complaints about the images.

Great tool for serious meditative work with the Tarot.
